Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced a buzzing sound while playing games or running stress tests?
The reason for asking is because I recently got a gigabyte G1 GTX980 and when running games at nvidia's optimal settings and even lower settings my graphics card gives a buzzing sound. I phoned the place I got it from but they seem to think it's normal and iv never experienced it before on any other of my previous graphics cards.
My system specs:
Motherboard: Asus P9x79pro socket 2011
Cpu: i7 3820 3.6ghz running at stable 4ghz with boost to 4.4ghz stable
Ram: patriot 8gb 1600Mhz shielded
Psu : can't remember name but it's a 750w
Ssd: I think it's a Kingston 30gb
HHD: 2x 1tb, 1x 2tb 2x 750gb in raid
Graphics card: Gigabyte G1 GTX980 factory OC'd
Also running a posidon 240 sealed water Cooling for the cpu
My previous graphics card pulled more.power than the new card due to the card being an amd card it used about 15-20% more power than my new card.
So any suggestions? Iv also tried running it with bare essentials plugged in and it still makes that buzz sound.
