IT Administrator & Support
A dynamic Hospitality and Travel Group in Cape Town is looking for an IT Administrator to join their team.
The person should have minimum of 6 years’ IT experience
Must have Matric certificate
A+ and MSCE certification
Own car and valid driver’s license
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Able to rebuild windows 2008 or 2012 server in result of a file server crash extract data and users and reinstate on new server
Must have experience with SQL server database
Experience working with Opera workstation setups, as well as Apex workstations and servers
Knowledge on Dynamic DNS, Firewall, routers, wireless experience, fault finding and resolution
Be able to crimp and test CAT 5e and 6e network cables
Extensive experience in managing various Wi-Fi networks
Backups on and offsite, anti-virus software and ransom ware knowledge
E-mail account data backup and exporting
Vlan and Wan knowledge
Interfacing and Micros, Midas integration
Be able to join workstations to domain networks, setup printing, scanning and necessary software applications
Setup e-mails on different android devices and cell phones
Basic knowledge on Apple devices, iMac’s etc.
Experience in setting up UPS power systems and management
