The advantages of posting to github is that our partners also get to see the discussion and also see where people have issues. The disadvantage is that less of the community sees the discussion although nothing is preventing them from seeing it as it is all open and doesn't require login to see. One big plus on github is that all issues are listed in one place and we can count them. We probably need to start prioritising them as they are becoming quite a lot. Lots of them are enhancements etc.
Of course we only have so much people developing so we need to somehow filter these out. One of these filters I'm employing is to ask people to post on github. If the issue is that big of a problem for the user they'd overcome the issue of posting on github. Not sure if that's right or wrong. I find it practical.
Some of the above I will eventually post across as I agree with some of them, though I want to focus a little less on wind at the moment. Some are more a matter of opinion and I don't see it as priority.
I have one outstanding thing for @MDE so that he can colour our links for us again. And our jammin has some functionality he needs that he wants tested soon.
