Any Wireless Internet providers in Muizenberg?

Hi there,

I am in Muizenberg Village (near Surfer’s corner, etc) and am wondering if anybody knows of WISPs in my area?
I’d love to join the CTWUG too eventually, but my first priority is getting Internet :wink:

Any advice appreciated!

On a more serious note I browsed a few wisp sites and found that http://www.amobia.com/aboutus.html covers your area. There are a few more you can try to contact http://www.kawuleza.com/(their website is down at the moment)contact number: 021 402 0168/9 email: sales@kawuleza.com. Not sure if eccsystems will cover you area but you can always ask, their website www.eccsystems.co.za has been under construction for about 4 years now, but they are the best wisp that i have used price wise and they only do uncap.

Kawuleza has been bought out by sprintnet. I’m currently with Amobia and have no problems. They use a fibre link into the NAPAfrica centre in Newlands. Only thing with Amobia is they shape the sh@t out of torrents.

ECC Systems don’t cover Muizenberg Area.
