For me personally this was the best venue

Indoor braai
Outdoor braai
Fridges
TV
Lan if needs be
Enough seating

Only issue was the last meeting held there started a bit late, this is something that can be sorted in the future.

2016 year end braai meeting there was more than 100 people including wife’s and children.

Quorum was just met on both election though.

Agreed this was the best venue and had big attendance and central for all people and when meetings was held at above venue people stayed till very late as traveling home wasnt big issue

All one needs to do is look at the density on wind, select key locations and then ask everyone if they know of places in and around these key locations.

I happened to have the WiND database open when you asked this.

So, just for fun, I calculated the average WiND node location (roughly the centre of the wug) for nodes with the following criteria:

Node is marked active on WiND

Node is within box defined by the following. This is to remove random weird nodes from the average.

latitude<-33.75 and latitude>-34.5

and longitude>18 and longitude<19

The centre of CTWUG is in Belhar:

I was looking for a node that is online and the closest to that location. I believe we need to hold our meeting at @Steamblazer1 's place:
CTWUG WIND

Anybody know him? Does he have a braai?

Anyway it does however seem of the venues we have chosen that Kuilsriver might be closest to the the middle of the wug though still some way off the centre.

I will try and find out about the belhar soccer field if they will allow us to have a meeting there and/or what it would take to convience them to allow it ther.

Tops and other shops is around the corner from this venue that im refering to similar to the parow venue just the hall is double the size.
