Hallo everyone
Currently we don’t have a training officer to help grow the admin base in our community. We won’t let this hold us back and have decided to go ahead and have a training session on the 6[SUP]th[/SUP] of February 2016.
The aim of this training is to get more wuggers interested and involved in routing and who knows maybe a future admin or two.
I like this video is a bit long but there are many more to watch
So what will we be learning?
How to setup wind correctly
Most of the following work will be done via telnet
2. Setup your (client) routerboard with your allocated range to connect to the highsite
3. How to add a client from the highsite
4. How to forward an ip range for a client over a few rbs that is not running ospf
You will need to bring a laptop and please watch the above youtube video or an equivalent. If you want to make the class a breeze for yourself please practice your telnet skills. (We won’t be able to spend too much time on explaining the basics of sub netting or telnet)
Tip: What I did to improve my telnet skills was backup my own router which was connected to a sector and then in telnet I looked how it was setup. I then reset my rb to default configuration and tried to “mimic” my previous settings. I don’t take any responsibility for anyone deleted their config and then they are not able to connect back again. It was just the way I forced myself to learn.

Hi there if there is still space i would like to attend, aswell as BigBoss
Can you ask him to send me a mail at ogonuis@gmail.com to reserve a spot for him until tomorrow night this time, if he doesn’t contact me it will be filled by the next willing student.
Reason is there is only 12 places I want to be sure the guys who booked wants to be there, don’t want to have open seats with guys who didn’t pitch up and saying that they never booked.
