Hi guys im a new user from elsies river i connected my sxt an im getting signal to my admin he give me all his settings but now when i want to connect it tells me error scan not running

You did do a scan, when you connect to site winbox is just telling that the scan is not running.
Check next to the wireless interface if you now see a R. This means that you are connected.
