Europa is back up!

Thanks to Redeamer2210 for fetching the PSU and to Wacko and Jypels for installing it today.

Hi All,

We will be doing some maintenance tomorrow night at Europa.

Install new pole
Install new enclosure
Run cabling
Install new AC RB to Wacko141
Re-crimping RJ45’s on some links. (Wacko will be handling this)

Expect some downtime during this, as we will be working with candles.

Don’t worry man…I’m only crimping the cables that link the toughswitches to the core. What could possibly go wrong?

The site visit was cancelled due to the building manager leaving without dropping off the keys. ;(

I will post again when we have another date.

Also, thanks to UpTheCreek/Ghostrider for donating the beer. I will keep it cold until we go to Europa again!

Is daar 'n plekkie vir my?

Hi Guys,

Apologies late reply - Building / roof access secured for EU tomorrow, ill be there 9:30ish.

Was just up on the roof - concerning power we might need a 20cm drill bit to go though a wall & ± 20 meter of power cable in order to source power from inside the building.

ninja edit: that would be both for having power to work with and stationary power for the kitt.
