Thanks to the donations from wuggers and contribution from CTWUG I have managed to purchase kit to upgrade Ganymede. Faster RB and shiny new sector will be part of the upgrade. My plan is to try and do this sometime during the festive break, providing I can get access to the site (owner might be away).
I will post details here when I have pinned a date.
Scheduled for this coming Sunday morning. Expect downtime from 8:30 onwards.
Will also be trying to sort out the MasterYoda BB link.
Weather not looking good so may have to postpone.

So my plan for the new sector and RB was put on hold till I can make some space on the mast. Current mast is too small (or is the sector too big? :p)
On the plus the master-yoda link is looking much better.

Bad news
I discovered after replacing the bracket that some water had gotten into the enclosure somehow. Unfortunately the moving around of the mast to replace the bracket moved all the water around resulting in a very broken RB.
I’ve managed to restore a backup config on another RB, which I’m hoping to install on Sunday.

Might be some downtime Saturday morning for some sector tuning.
Sector tuned (bloody wind). Stay wires installed.
New dish and hex PoE installed. Clients will be down as there is some routing that needs to be moved/fixed.
