General cleaner/handyman
Reporting to Facilities Manager
Minimum requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle/transport
- Ability to take initiative
- Resourcefulness and flexibility
- Work hours Monday to Friday 22h00 – 06h00
- Work outside these hours as required by prior arrangement
- Basic handyman and woodwork skills, rudimentary plumbing knowledge
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Work according to a roster, complete tasks within deadlines
- Candidate needs to be physically fit, able to work up ladders, etc.
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
Tasks will include, but not limited to
- General cleaning of staff lounge, common areas, etc.
- Vacuuming/steam cleaning
- Overseeing pest control
- Cleaning of lamp shades, light shades, etc.
- Changing fluorescent bulbs/LED bulbs
- Heavy lifting, moving furniture
