I have a grid dish and ubiquity poe box that I bought from my previous useless wisp (kawuleza connect/sprintnet). I want to know how do I get started when I want to connect to a wug?

You will first need to plot yourself on wind.ctwug.za.net. That will give you an idea of who to contact.
Next would be to do a scan and see what you pickup. After that contact the node owner/admin to see if there is space available and if there is then just connect.
