Hi guys, i need help with my network. My RB has got its own WUG ip. And so does my pc to connect to the RB and WUG. But if I do a fing scan from my phone i cannot pick up my pc on my local network. Unless i set my phone to static ip (obviously… Since its a different IP etc. ) but I occasionally use my phone as a “remote” for my pc. But can only do so with my Android phone on a static IP so that the traffic is routed through my RB. is there a way to get the traffic from my DHCP phone through to the RB and to my pc? My Internet and CTWUG is bridged already. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What is the dynamic IP of the phone when you don’t give it a static IP?
What is the dhcp server on your network and what ips does it give out?
192.168.1.103 normal dhcp ip. Dhcp server is a normal toto link router with ip 192.168.1.1. Think ips go from .2 and up
No, just checked. Dhcp range starts at .100 and up
Couple of options:
- add dhcp server on wug router and have static routing to internet from that side. Disable dhcp on toto.
- disable everything on toto and dial internet through toto via wug router
- add static route to your wug range from toto to wug router and vice versa
Depends on what your toto can do exactly.
Does your wug pc have Internet that works or not?
Probably you need to try the last option first.
Last option sounds familiar. I havr got Internet on wug pc yes.
Having no luck with static routes. Maybe doing something wrong. Will you be able to assist me?
Why dont you just set 2 static ips on your pc and route traffic to the wug range via the mikrotik as the gateway and route all other traffic to your toto. Can be achieved using command prompt ROUTE command
