I’m trying to join the WUG, but I’m not getting a 2nd reply from my first contacts, and most importantly, the test-kit owner is also not responding to my email. Sandman.
Any alternative ways? I am really serious about joining but cannot continue if I’m left in the dark here with no co-operation from the members here.
Also willing to Donate to have another highsite setup for us here in the Helderberg for better connectivity.

My humblest apologies for not replying to your second email you sent me. Ones life is hectic thus we can’t always remember things or concentrate on one thing solely.
In response to your second mail…
Where you are situated will not be the most feasible spot to become an Access Point. Because our area is saturated with massive trees it is best that we set up AP’s on high rise buildings or houses situated against the hills here in Somerset West or Gordon’s Bay. If you know of anyone or have contacts of people in high rise buildings or living against the hills then possibly you could organise for us to be able to set up some equipment there.
As for doing a test scan. I can throw something together to use to scan. We don’t have a test kit as yet as I’m waiting on the equipment still. Anyway give me a shout and we can arrange for the equipment to test with.
