Good day to admins on pluto
I have a friend looking to connect to pluto 4. just would like to find out who the admins on pluto is and if there are availible spots for a connection to pluto 4
Could we maybe start by plotting your friend and then take it from there.
hi ogon. i have him plotted and scans done. connected him to pluto 4. due to high trees and a few double story houses around him, we are not able to get decent signals to connections closer to him. his node name: MR & MRS Smith node no: 11267

Does your friend have a mimo kit, because it is a requirement for new clients to have a mimo kit to be able to connect to pluto.
no diabolix. he is running off a sxt hp
so i gues in that case he wont be able to connect then?

The good news are that sxt’s is mimo and that your that your signal is acceptable
Bad news is that sxt are only allowed under 1km to CTwug higsites, more bad news is that the sector is not exactly pointed in the direction of mr & mrs smith as I understand is that N1 city is the edge of the sectors broadcast area. It seems that the sector could be turned a little bit more in the direction of the smiths but if it will be good enough who knows.
Reality is your signal is good enough so lets do a bandwidth test to it, and see if it will be viable to do this link without compromising the quality of the current clients connections(no wug ips will be allocated). At the moment it looks like Pluto is not connected to the wug as I cant get into any rbs in the range 172.18.51.250-254.
Could you maybe create a test account for me the rb so i can do a bandwith test as soon as the rb comes up?

Thanks for all your help thusfar. what is the details i need to set up a test account? then i can get that sorted for you in the mean time. and i have read up a lot about noise shielding the sxt, so will do that aswell.

That is a mimo kit, but it’s way too far for a SXT.
Remember first thing to do when you get a SXT is, turn down the TX power to 18 and check your signal then.
