We are trying to setup a PtP link between my friend’s house in Monte Vista with my house in Edgemead and we are having issues with getting the link up and running.
We are using Ubiquity AirMAX AC Nanobeam 19db equipment for both sides of the link and the link distance is 1.34km according to the Ubiquity Airlink tool. I think we are having LOS issues, as there are some trees that are potentially in the way.
Any help or assistance in getting this link up and running would be most appreciated.

Do you have nodes ploted? Are you connected to CTwug?

What exactly have you done so far.
This is what I would do
Device one
Put one ubiquity device in access point mode.
You can make the access point ssid sbozzy-test
Make the frequency list 5180(this is to make the scanning process quicker)
Device two
Make the frequency list 5180
Tips for making the scan results better
Height
direction
Please post your results here
PS 2.4ghz could help if only trees are in your way(please don’t go out and buy 2.4GHz on my say so)
Nodes Plotted on WiND (Bozzy #14441 & Keeper #14445) We are not currently connected to CTWUG. Keeper is the high side.
We have moved the one antenna onto a higher pole (Keeper) and have tried to raise the antenna on the other side (Bozzy). Have tried to do a scan, but no joy.
Could try with a longer pole to try and bypass the trees if needed.
