Thanks again for all the input and ideas, Iām sure you guys are wondering what the committee is doing about the rebate dilemma.
We will have a new committee in less than two weeks time and we feel we donāt want to rush the rebate issue and would rather like to involve the new members. This is going to be priority one for us.
We have asked scoop for a 12 months statement to see what we bought, this way we can actually see what people bought that wasnāt wug related.(the statement wont include any node names)
Once weāve decided what to do we will announce to the community.
Why not, include it. If you are using a public ctwug account you have nothing to hide. You might even be able to track down the person(s) involved. (edit: unless that will be a lot of extra admin for Scoop, then I agree, donāt worry about the node names)
As for a solution I must say @hoboclown nailed it, a monthly password set by Scoop that is given to the commitee by them. All admin is then on CTWUG as all the sales staff need to do is reject an order with an out of date or wrong password. Simple yet effective.

I would say one way is to let the highsites (or a group dedicated guys or girls) to order the equipment for the client, clients then goes there pays and pick it up ⦠nothing else can be added to the order but the highsite or an admin, its less work for scoop little PT for us but its our network so i am willing to put in the added effort ⦠We dont want to give scoop extra work, suppliers dont like that so if we can control the orders placed we will have control what goes on with all the ctwug orders ā¦

This issue does not prevent you from getting the quote or even making the purchase, just that we will not get any rebate on itā¦
thats why im not going to buy from the supplier as ctwug gets nothing out of it. So i will wait it out ![]()
Been following this post and i have a question to Committee Members:
Is it not possible that we appoint a few people only to use the Scoop Acc for purchases i.e if i need to buy something from scoop i must get it through one of the Committee Members than go direct to Scoop?

Can always start a project and ask the guys to donate towards it.
Bellville started a project Mammon-Cslling-Psycho new backbone - Planned that will be 100% user funded and we loaded it on the finance site just to make sure this project is transparent to everyone.
