Scan list error after RB OS update

Good evening

Iv broken the WUG at least my clients think so.:grin: I did an OS update on my RB’s this morning to v6.44.3 and have only discovered now after a few clients asking if the WUG was down. That I’m getting an error on my sector [scan-list does not contain valid channels] How can I fix this?

Hope I am coorect in saying…

The latest updates enable ā€œregion lockingā€ which means that if you select SA on your RB, only the approved frequencies will show.

To fix it you will need to make sure that the freqs are the same both ends.

There was a post about this not too long ago. Search back a bit, I’m sure you will find the information you need.

Hi before you upgrade a RB do this set the country to no_country if you do not do that and just upgrade it will change your frequency and the frequency mode and this will drop any connection until you have changed the settings back to where it was originally

Thanks guys it looks like i will probably have to scan and reconnect from the clients side.

Unfortunately if you do not remember the access point settings it was on before the upgrade then that is the only option

100 persent korrek nuwe ros lock frequencies, as razor1 said no_country will need to be selected in future.
