OK What I will do is I will put the 760 4GB OC version in my Gaming Desktop and put the 1050 ti into my Lounge Desktop.
the performance on the 2 is almost the same.

Your going about this all wrong. It makes zero sense to buy a so called “Smart” TV.
Get a FireTV stick and plug that into any TV. The 4K model remotes have TV controls on them as well. You can sideload Play Store along with some other apps needed to get it to work.
If you need any help with anything Amazon just ask. I even run my own SmartDNS out of Minnesota.

Whats the cost of a Firestick these days and does stremio and dstv work on it?
I got a Telkom LIT player last week.
R1099 certified Android TV everything works as it should.
So far I’m very happy
