I decided to upgrade my hard drive to a SSD and upgrade Windows at the same time.
I have 2 questions regarding Winbox which I hope those with more experience can help me with.
I don’t know what the login password is on Winbox, which I assume would mean I won’t be able to login after the upgrades. What is the best way to solve this? I have always wondered, why is there a line going though the password entry, as if it is crossed out?
You can always export the “old” Winbox address list & import into Winbox on the fresh install, would suggest you change the password to something you woulld remember though…

Unless you reset the device, no setup would be required (backups are advisable in any case)
If u can’t remember the login details at all then u will have to reset the device to gain access again and then setup it from scratch if you don’t have any backups but If you can login still then change the details to something u can remember and create a backup and store it on your backup drive or a flash drive (u can also add your login details next to the file or in a txt file and save them together) then if something happens in the future then you can at least restore the backup without the need to reconfigure everything again
For the benefit of some poor soul who might read this in the future… I see that my highsite owner is also listed as a user. If I really couldn’t log in, could I not have contacted him and asked him to change my password?

I logged into Winbox and it seems that I am connected but I am unable to access any of the services. I cannot connect to this site, for example, without internet.
