Hi. Vertex went down at about 7:45 this morning and is still down. It looks like a power issue, but I haven’t gone there to investigate yet. Stay tuned.
Ugh, unfortunately the problem is much less convenient. The roof of Vertex has a lot of roofing material lying about and one of the steel sheets there got picked up by the wind and hooked on Vertex’s network cabling. Most importantly the power supply line has been completely ripped out, so all of Vertex’s equipment is off. The cable rip caused some other damage too, but I think it can be worked around. Not until the rain clears as there’s no easy way to keep the enclosure dry while working in it. Rain is forecast for the whole day, so Vertex users might be off for a while. If there’s a decent gap in the weather today I’ll run back up and sort things out.

Quick update… unfortunately I’ve had zero time to do the repairs today, and I can’t get access to the premises this evening. Hopefully I can sort things out tomorrow morning. Hang in there…
