You need to be member of the Wugger group. This also allows access the Wuggers’ Only Section. You may not even know the Wuggers’ Only section exists!
How to get it:
Please try and access the forum via the wug every once and a while. Once you log in via the wug you will be added to the wuggers group and this will allow you to access the wugger’s only section (from internet and the wug) and you will get the badge. Once you are added to the group you can always see the wugger’s section. You just need to log in to forum via wug every 90 days.
To check if you are accessing it via the wug do the following on your command line:
The output above indicates that I’m probably accessing the forum via the internet. If the last address was a wug IP (172.18.something) then I would be fine.
I could make sure my dns settings points to 172.18.1.1.
Alternatively a workaround is to go to https://forum-wnet.ctwug.za.net and log in there (you can only do this while connected to the wug).
It may take up to an hour for the wugger group to be added. You may also need to close any other forum sessions you have open. I.e. don’t have a window to https://forum.ctwug.za.net open at the same time.
I’m bumping this as our active wuggers has dropped to low numbers again. We are 234 active wuggers as I type this and I seem to recall us having nearly 300 when I started this.
If you don’t have this badge remember to login to the forum from the wug. See instructions at the top of this thread.
I logged in from chrome and internet explorer to get the wugger badge. Nothing yet. Is there another way to check on command? I receive other errors on command when i use the recomended way to check if the routing is through the wug.
