Zassie highsite is currently down until further notice.
This will effect throughput to Tinuva as well as disconnect Voyager and Jovaneck
Some strong winds blew the pole over. (Note to self Allu poles are not a great idea)
I have a spare pole that i can use just need to find the time and a not so windy day.
Fortunately the only casualty are the noise shields. All of the actual equipment is fine.

Staywires ?
Ouch…just also check the dishes haven’t warped. I.e. lost its parabolic design, otherwise you’ll get signal degradation into the horn.
You can see the stays in the photo’s 
But there must have been a loose one somewhere.
Visually it doesn’t look like there is any damage, Once i’m back up and running we shall see

Yeah was very lucky there is no damage to the roof! I think the stay wires saved me actually… Think the pole came down but the stays caused the pole to sheer at the brackets when the bend happened… so there was alot of resistance as it came down making it fall “softer”
Hah bly ek is nie die enigste een nie. 
Yor that’s heavy, there is always a chance that this could happen at any wuggers highsite with or without staywire as mother nature does not discriminate and winds have been really strong of late. I hope you get your site up soon Zassie, luck it could have been much worst.
I had to drop my Pole lower yesterday evening as, a stay wire had broke and caused a second stay wire to come loose. Wind was crazy
Yeah its crazy scary… keep expecting one of my neighbours to come knocking asking me to please remove my pole and equipment from their roof
