TeamSpeak - The committee has been in talks with TeamSpeak and they agreed to sponsor a TeamSpeak license. CTWUG will now have it’s own official CTWUG TeamSpeak server, managed by the Committee. Thank you to Gekido for making this happen.

The committee has approved four site upgrades, namely Nemisis-Wolffie; Nemisis-Badboy; Parow Park and Neso-Anwar.
Incomplete.
Two projects are still open, namely Bloemhoff-Gifftand2 and Herb1-TNT. Please advise if these projects must be left open as there are still funds outstanding.

Plans to update WMS and QoS
WMS server has been moved to a new host.
TeamSpeak server location to be determined, latency will go up but won’t make a difference. We want to create one TeamSpeak server for gaming, meetings etc.
There are few active tunnels over fibre running quite well.
Will look into tunnels for gaming.

Open Floor
Gaming admin - Razor elected as gaming admin. He will select his admins to assist.
TeamSpeak - Central server. The idea is for everyone to make use of this server instead of the current servers. Admins assigned by committee. the reason behind this being admins making there friends admins, etc.
Admins will have all normal rights, except for making someone admin. Input from Razor required regarding moving his server to the official server. Having a licensed server will benefit the wug as it can be kept up to date with the latest versions. TeamSpeak client will be available on downloads page.
Areas - Fibre tunnel between Spin and Razor as an experiment. Only for gaming use.
Please use the forum for complaints regarding links etc. for visibility. Admins can’t look at links if they are not aware of issues. Tag @networkadmins
Giff mentions they only have one link, and if Razor is down they are down. Giff will communicate with the committee regarding a possible redundant link.
