Just a note : The link between Pot and Brackrat was upgraded yesterday - links capacity has gone from about 15mbps to 90mbps. So that should improve all links on Pot (of which aquarat is one).

So it looks like Hoektoe is back online, not only that but Hoektoe’s owner has aligned the grid to aquarat properly, so the link is going fast!!! It’s doing about 12mbps, which for Hoektoe is amazing

Seems there was no further development on getting Durbanville connected again… :pcsmash:
Someone in Durbanville should be taking this into their own hands, that is the only way you will get connected and stay connected.
If you keep waiting on someone else, then you will wait forever.
I’m with Diabolix on this one… Somebody from that area needs to step up.
The aquarat node is going down as far as i know due to aquarat moving… effectively this will leave 20+ wuggers disconnected from the rest of the wug.
You guys need to find connections out desperately… as well as redundancy… I see 3 or 4 highsites connecting 20 odd people and pretty much all of that goes through one link out into the wug…
I currently have the Bellville test-kit in my possesion… So if guys want to do scans to see what can be done and who can see what please come talk to me the the #ctwug-bellville channel so we can arrange to do a few scans
P.S I also see far too many clients for my liking

Afternoon Durbanvillers myself and a few Durbanville clients are in the process of planning the new route forward for Durbanville.
I lended morne04 a sector that came off mercury and some kit that was donated by Frankel to ctwug that has not yet found a home. This is a 433, ncard, lmr, pigtail and a aliminum enclosure. He will be putting the AP kit up at his place this weekend then clients that is currently connected to aqaurat and hoektoe can scan for morne04 take screenshots of the result and paste it here of they want.
I will email all clients once the AP is up and running you guys are also welcome to join the whatsapp group that was created by morne04 a few weeks ago, my whatsapp number is 0818030909 I’ll ask morne to add whoever in the area wants to join.
Just want to point out morne has perfect Los to pot and if these scans are successful he will be taking over the link from aqaurat whenever they seem it fit to do so.
I forgot to mention no ips will be giving out as this is just a test and kit will have to be returned to me in about 3 weeks
