For those that dont know Gekido went offline due to renovations being done. 15m Mats being setup with new equipment. So far network cabling done and mast base setup. Network cabling done by my friends company AWA projects. Mast being built by Eddie’s welding solutions. Setup ( IE routing and stuff ) being done by Ironman and Ogon. Here is some pics of the project so far.

So the mast is up. Just wanna say a moerse big thanks to Bronny AKA Anubis and Ash AKA Sinner for all there help. Without them dont think mast would’nt have been up by now… Then to all my peoples wuggers and Non wuggers thanks for always being there to lend a hand. Now just for the equipment to go up then we sorted. Here some pics

Well done on your project. Looking good. Don’t want to be a spoil sport but can you please invest in a safety equipment for your tower. It’s probably one of the cheapest things you will buy for the site (but probably the most important).
I’m referring to this photo:

The committee and specifically @Ogon is very concerned about the number of people climbing at height without proper equipment. We can see the 
and worse we are going to have someone’s widow or mother to deal with.
I will start a thread on safety and guys can contribute tips there. Ogon has also bought a harness for CTWUG for assisting.

Spin there is one. Probably one of the first things i bought for the mast before the euipment. I will maybe invest in another one. I dont know these guys choose to live life on the edge.

Not by any means preaching about this one specific site, there’s quite a few that do not follow safe practice.
One of the biggest issues here is that YOU as the owner of the site will be liable. If I get on your tower without adequate safety and have a mishap, nothing would stop my family from instituting liability charges against you as the site owner. The nitty-gritty of it is that YOU as the site owner have the responsibility to ensure that your site is safe, this includes any “personnel” that would assist on your site, and can be held liable should your site not conform. In line with this, you have the right and obligation to refuse any person access to your site in the interest of your site’s safety.
At least one harness is available from comms, with several other people also owning harnesses that they have generously made available for WUG use. If all else fail, you are more than welcome to contact me should nobody else have one for you. The only conditions that would be attached to you borrowing my harness:
- Please bring back promptly
- Please look after my stuff, “You break it, you bought it” applies

100% agree with you Stianm. Will make sure they wear them. I dont want to explain to people’s family what happened and be responsible if anything happens.

Yip is good to have die hard wuggers but there should always be something to fall back on when things go wrong as every situation is different and just a small slip on a Mast could be fatal so safety first FTW

Welldone Mr Gekido. I would like to ask if I could link to you as I will be renovating JacksBeans to Also a tower and am looking at links and equipment to purchase. Joint effort to Make Belhar the best wug area possible? 
I just got a new dish and RB912. Will be getting loads more equipment soon
