#Problem Description:Discreet Equipment or new link.
Hi guys, recently moved from Sunningdale to Tableview to a complex. The body corporate has decided to decline my application to install my RocketDish. Also tried to do a scan from the 2nd floor window, but could not find Venus in my scan list. My question, is there perhaps a more discreet option, other than my current setup (5ghz, 30dB RocketDish, RB911G) or perhaps connect to another AP? Any suggestion would be awesome. I have created a new node on WIND to plot my new location, Wildcard_test. Thanks

Book the test kit and run a scan through your Windows to sites close by. If you pick anything up with decent enough signal you could get an SXT and mount it inside your flat to get re-connected.

I havent had a look at your node yet but will have a look when I get a gap in front of my pc.

Spoke to the chairman of the corp, they will let me put a “antenna” up to about where the gutter is on the roof… Still struggling to scan, want to use the RB411L but can’t remember the password and can’t seem to get the damn thing reset. Anyone know how to do it? Been Googling the weekend and trying different things but not getting it right.

Tried the suggestion on the Mikrotik page, didn’t work. Unless I am doing something wrong.

Seeing as you struggeling would it not be easier to book a ctwug test kit to do the scan and take it from there.
