In all honesty i wont be ale to tell you off hand. All the committee members need to be involved so it depends on there availability, but we will try and get back to you as soon as possible on this project. Most definitely not something that waits till every GM meeting.
You can always check in with @dizzle as the Vice Chairman is your point guy for all projects.

Project update : 12 August 2018
Great news : The Committee has approved 50% Funding for our site. This means the project is set to go ahead this week.
Good news : Our project has run off on a bit of a tangent, and the committee has decided to make some changes. We will no longer connect to MARS via CAIT (Firestarter), but directly to the dish on MARS. It looks like the dish on MARS has been turned a little to face us, and with @JellyBean s help we are now connected again.
Bad news : No-one informed the affected parties about any of these decisions, and feathers were ruffled. We need to work on top-down comms skills chaps.
So : Here is how the project changes now :
We are still buying the new PowerBeam this week, and it will replace the Litebeam up at WESA now. We will then have a fast, stable connection directly to MARS.
This means that we will have TWO Litebeams available and I am going to try a secondary connection to MrFuzzy using them. This will make our area fast, and rock solid.
So all in all, still looks good!
I dont seem to able to tag @Anubis, so I will use @Committee for now.

While I have your attention, in an effort to play the long game, I am still concerned for the future of MARS.
I was under the impression that it may possibly be going down in the near future. Or did you make the changes to our project based on new info? It would be sad if we did all of this in vein if MARS drops. Can anyone enlighten us to the situation with that site?

You need to look under area/parow park on the finance page. As mentioned before your project was not yet approved so i created an area for you guys so that your funds reflect. Seems we missed Dozer funds but i have corrected this now.

Just on this statement this is incorrect as in your project picture you will see rebate is set for 01 September 2018 however @Dizzle will make contact with you regarding this to explain better.
Also does the order you placed relate to this project or is that seperate? If it does relate then you jumping the gun as project orders are placed by @Committee.
Can i please ask that you wait on Dizzle to respond to you on your project.
Yes,only saw that afterwards , and Jelly explained to me that there may not be rebate available right now. Sept it is.
Its for this project, and by “placed the order” I meant CTWUG order form sent to orders@ctwug… sothat the committee place the order with Scoop when ready.
Sure thing, was not planning on doing anything until the official go-ahead is given.

@Nimii used to be connected to Mars, but if memory serves me correctly, signal was bad, that is why the move to the other AP.
