Hi Peeps,

We will be doing some maintenance at RenegadeWolf this Saturday (2nd Feb). We will be splitting the links to two poles, thus minimizing interference. This will also make the site a lot more neat.

Also, we will be adding a 8 Port Toughswitch to the site.

Obviously this will result in some downtime. Sites affected: MLB, SApolisie, Bosvark, Pilgrim, STB-Hippo, Scoopnode and IO.

RenegadeWolf couldn’t get the second pole, so tomorrow is cancelled for now… Will let you guys know we do the upgrade.

RenegadeWolf maintenance is taking place this Monday at 10H00. Expect some downtime, and let me know if anyone wants to join. /beforehand please :slight_smile:

Upgrade was done. We split the links from the one pole onto two poles to help with noise and added a 8 Port TS.

Now RW has three poles up, two in the front and one in the back.

nice work there Dia, question… I see an old 24Db dish there, are you having good signal on both chains?! I find those old dishes to be abit “moody”

Seems like CH0 on that dish went borked. We are going to replace it with a Ubiquiti dish and rocketik, hopefully soon.

Seeing as only one chain went haywire, the feed is most likely filled with water and the one feed is submerged.

Similar thing happened at prom’s merc link.

Sadly RW will be decommissioned this coming weekend.

The current owner is unfortunately moving, this means that the following people will need to move/loose their links:

  1. MLB (PollyG, you own the kit on RW so let me know when you want to collect)
  2. IO
  3. Zerith
  4. Bosvark
  5. Mars

On that note PollyG, we have picked up MLB-Uitsig sector from a scan done at Fiekie in Plain. Think it might be better to run the link from there instead of Sniper. Can you just confirm that there’s still a dish pointing to Snipers side? Will keep you informed.

there is a groove+grid pointing that way but is in station for Snakedoctor but we can put up something towards your side

I was thinking about moving most of the links to Scoopnode, he is also quite high and I don’t think he has plans to move soon.

So we can keep the following links going at him.

  1. MLB
  2. Mars
  3. IO

I doubt a link to Zerith will work, but we can try.

Any feedback on Scoopnode & whether he has accepted the proposal, if so can you plz forward me a plan of action to move the links.
I have brought the issue forward to wuggers in our area & they have offered any help to assist in this matter.
